Rules and Regulations for Submitting Films – First OTT Films Festival
1. General Guidelines
1.1. The First OTT Films Festival welcomes film submissions from independent filmmakers, production houses, and content creators worldwide.
1.2. The festival accepts feature films, short films, web series, and documentaries.
1.3. All submissions must be made exclusively through the official online submission platform within the deadline specified on the festival website.

2. Eligibility Criteria
2.1. Films must be produced after January 1, 2023.
2.2. Entries can be in any language, but English subtitles are mandatory for non-English films.
2.3. The submitted content must not have been released on any major OTT platform (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, etc.) before the festival screening.
2.4. The festival is open to films of all genres, including drama, thriller, horror, comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, experimental, and animation.
2.5. Only original content will be accepted; no remakes or plagiarized works.

3. Submission Guidelines
3.1. Submissions must be made in MP4 or MOV format with a minimum resolution of 1080p (Full HD).
3.2. Each submission must include:

Film Poster & Trailer (if available)
Director’s Statement
Film Synopsis
Cast & Crew Details
3.3. Films should not exceed the following duration limits:
Feature Film: 60 to 150 minutes
Short Film: Up to 40 minutes
Web Series: Maximum 3 episodes (each up to 30 minutes)
Documentary: Up to 90 minutes
3.4. Each filmmaker can submit a maximum of two entries.
4. Submission Fees
4.1. An entry fee applies for each submission, which is non-refundable.
4.2. Early-bird discounts are available for films submitted before the early submission deadline.
4.3. Payment must be made online via the festival’s official website.

5. Selection & Screening
5.1. The festival committee will screen all submitted films and select finalists for competition.
5.2. Selected films will be streamed on the official festival OTT platform for a limited period.
5.3. The festival holds the right to reject any submission that does not meet the quality or content guidelines.

6. Awards & Recognition
6.1. Winners will be announced in categories such as:

Best Feature Film
Best Short Film
Best Director
Best Actor/Actress
Best Documentary
Best Web Series
6.2. Selected films may receive a digital certificate, cash prizes, and distribution opportunities.
7. Copyright & Rights
7.1. The filmmaker must hold full rights to the film, including music and script.
7.2. By submitting, the filmmaker grants the festival non-exclusive rights to stream the film for festival purposes.
7.3. The festival is not responsible for any copyright infringement issues related to the film.

8. Disqualification
8.1. Films containing hate speech, excessive violence, explicit content, or illegal activities will be disqualified.
8.2. Submissions with incomplete details or unpaid fees will not be considered.

9. Agreement
9.1. By submitting a film, the filmmaker agrees to all the terms and conditions of the First OTT Films Festival.
9.2. The festival reserves the right to modify the rules without prior notice.
